Whitening Serum with Vitamin C

Gerovital® H3 Prof. Dr. Ana Aslan Equilibrium Whitening Serum with Vitamin C is targeting areas with intense pigmentation, the serum contains effective ingredients with synergistic effect of skin discoloration, evenness and brightness. It depigments, evens and illuminates the complexion, while stimulating collagen synthesis and restoring the skin's protective hydro-lipid barrier. It has a beneficial effect on mature complexions by inhibiting the formation of excess melanin, attenuating existing pigmentation spots and preventing the appearance of new ones.

Active ingredients
Vitamin C - is present in the form of a soluble derivative, particularly stable, with an increased ability to penetrate into the dermis. It is readily absorbed into the skin and releases all the vitamin C it carries without danger of degradation. It is an effective inhibitor of the enzyme tyrosinase, having a positive effect in discoloring pigmentation spots, improving texture and evening out skin. Arbutin - is an active principle that quickly and effectively blocks the synthesis of melanin in the epidermis, which leads to skin whitening, reduction in the intensity of pigmentation spots, reduction in the degree of tanning after sun exposure
Niacinamide - strengthens the skin's protective barrier, prevents water loss from the skin, stimulates collagen synthesis, restores tone and elasticity and improves skin texture. Niacinamide reduces the transfer of pigment-carrying melanosomes from melanocytes to keratinocytes on the skin's surface. This reduces the amount of pigment dispersed in the epidermis and reduces pigmentation spots.

USAGE
Apply to face, neck and décolleté and massage gently with fingertips.

It is also recommended at home between treatments: apply to the entire face twice a day, morning and evening, for 2 months.

After applying the serum, use Whitening Cream with Vitamin C from the same range for best results.

Avoid exposure to UV rays during treatment. During sunny periods, use a sunscreen cream with a protection factor of at least 30. At any sign of skin irritation, temporarily suspend application of the cream and resume after 2-3 days.

Do not use around the eyes!
